Paternity for Dannielynn: Anna Nicole Smith's Daughter Will Soon Find Out Her Real Father - but Not as Soon as We All Thought
Media outlets started reporting that this past Tuesday may be the day that the paternity of Dannielynn, the daughter of the late Anna Nicole Smith, would be revealed. However, to the disappointment of the media as well as the two key players in this paternity battle, the judge stalled the court hearing until next Tuesday - even though the results are in.
Could this mean that neither Howard K. Stern or Larry Birkhead is the father? Only the judge knows for sure.
One thing is known about the hearing is that the judge did state that Dr. Michael Baird will be attending next Tuesday's court session to validate the paternity results. Dr. Michael Baird is a DNA specialist and was the doctor that preformed the DNA test on Dannielynn and Larry Birkhead.
Even if the results are revealed next Tuesday, Howard K. Stern nor Larry Birkhead can speak about it to the media. All parties are under a gag order issued by the judge in the case. This will prevent any parties from revealing what goes on in the courtroom as well as any results until the final judgment is made.
Considering that Howard K. Stern is listed as the father on Dannielynn's birth certificate and is considered the legal parent of the child, it may be awhile until the final judgment is made.
If Larry Birkhead is determined to be the father, there is still the legal battle to remove Howard K. Stern from the birth certificate as well as assign full legal custody to Larry.
This goes without mention that Dannielynn stands to inherit over $500 million dollars from her deceased mother, Anna Nicole Smith, if the legal guardian plans to continue the battle for a claim in the J. Howard Marshall lawsuit.
Also during Tuesday's court session, the judge was presented a new motion filed by the lawyers of Virgie Arthur. The motion asked that the judge grant Virgie custody of Dannielynn by making her the legal guardian.
There is one thing for sure - Tuesday will be a big day for the media as well as Dannielynn. Maybe for once, she will be able to finally be with her real father.

Post a CommentI love this saga. It's too bad she died because there's not a lot of interesting celebrities and Anna Nicole taught us many lessons. One being that coming from a trailer trash background, with very little education, she managed to attract wealthy men and led a tumultuous life. You can't write a better story. And as for the child, there's a big probability that her life will be as complicated and interesting as Anna's. At least it's something to talk about at the water cooler for years to come. If only our lives were as interesting!! Thanks Anna.

I'm sick and tired of the media. Life goes on without Anna. Give the baby to Stern, who in the first place is registered as the father. Wait till she's 18 or matured enough to decide and to find out who really is her real father.

Anna had a tragic life and was only truly loved by one person , that was her son Daniel.I feel bad for her with all this bad publicity surrounding her in death. Just what will her poor daughter think when she is older?
I wonder if the Bahamas is drawing this out for tourist purposes.
