Patrick Swayze Has Cancer, Says the National Enquirer But

Is This a Foolish Rumor Which Will Be Followed Up with and Aliens Find the Cure?

AmyBrowne
Patrick Swayze has cancer or so sixty one thousand searches reveal at almost 1 pm on Wednesday March 5, 2008, most reports are less then three hours old. It is unreal how quickly bad news travels when it gets loose on the internet. All these web sites are getting their information about Patrick Swayze from other web sites, but if one were to follow the trail back to it's originator it becomes tainted and totally unbelievable.

The National Enquirer is the one who began this hot topic of Patrick Swayze dying of cancer and only having five weeks to live. I am wondering if that title was also followed by and Aliens find the cure and save the day.

Shame on you National Enquire if this is a rumor, and are running this story about our beloved Patrick Swayze having cancer just to sell your rag.

It seems as if everyone is repeating the same news about Patrick Swayze and cancer today, what happens if it is not true? Look at the damage those thousands of pages are doing, look at the undue grief they maybe causing.

Patrick Swayze fans like me will miss him deeply if this is true, and if it is untrue shame on those fools who perpetuate the rumors. They need to be ashamed to their selves, as even I as a humble freelance writer knows to speak facts not lies.

Where is the integrity of media today most of those searches are following a story from the National Enquirer. We have all read that at one time or another and most of us laugh off their reports. Why are so many web sites trying to make everyone believe Patrick Swayze is really dying for cancer and has only five weeks to live here on earth?

First, if Patrick Swayze really does have cancer the five-week deadline is an educated guess at best, it could be any time from 2 weeks to many months before death occurs.

As a certified nursing assistant I have watched too many people die from different types of cancer trust me many linger far longer then that. Some people with different types of cancer are cured, some are fast moving while some cancers move slowly. Cancer is not a pleasant thing to go through and if Patrick Swayze does have it, the media needs to leave his family alone.

Patrick Swayze has to be the hottest 54-year-old man in America! With his boyish good looks, he turned into a heartthrob for many when he stared in Ghost, and how many women wished they were Jennifer Grey in Dirty Dancing. He was super hot as the head bouncer in roadhouse with Sam Elliott.

Yes, Patrick Swayze maybe almost 55 but he still has quite the body and those looks of an angel! Born August 18, 1952 in Huston Texas he has been making movies since 1979, has more then 40 movies under his belt, and is in pre-production of the Beast. He is a producer, and performer on some songs on the Road House soundtrack.

Personal message to Patrick Swayze and your family, if this cancer rumor is true, I join all your fans around the world in prayer for all of you. May God wrap you in his loving arms and lead those doctors who can cure you to your doorstep.

I love Patrick Swayze also and did hear on television that he had pancreatic cancer, which I know to be a rapidly progressive type. I heard this a couple of weeks ago and have heard nothing since then so maybe it isn't true. Makes me sad.

Good article, Amy. I'm so sick of the media and some of the stuff they pull. Unfortunately, it isn't just limited to the "rags" anymore either. Some of the so called legitimate media also don't think twice about printing something if it pushes their political agenda. So what if it happens to be untrue?

No Rosa, no one dies on a time table except for those being given lethal injection and that creepy stuff. When a person has cancer it is anyone's guess when the end will happen. I knew a man who passed from this world from a fast cancer in September two months after he was diagnosed, he was Ray's boss. As a nurse's aide I have seen some people go within days from cancer they never went to the doctor until the end, and others who died very slowly, it was awful to see those people suffer thru all that pain.

Great article and thanks for the comment on mine. I hesitated before I wrote it because the National Enquirer has been known to lie and lie a lot. I hope that it's not true and can they really tell if someone has only 5 weeks to live?

Very well written article. Who's to know if started by National Inquirer what the truth is.
