Patsy's Place has been voted "One of the Top 5 Most Romantic Inns in America by Country Home Magazine" and one of "The Top 25 Most Romantic Places in the U.S.A. by Travel & Leisure Magazine. The bed and breakfast is located in historic Fredericksburg, Texas outside of San Antonio. It's off the main road and in a quiet neighborhood. There are 2 living quarters to choose from. There are no telephones and no televisions.
The main house is broken into a downstairs living area called Elizabeth's Suite. If you choose the Elizabeth's Suite you'll also get the great screened in back porch with the hot tub and hammock for two called the Garden Spa room. No one ever bothers you, the key is left in a lock box and you receive the code with your email confirmation. Amenities include large soft towels, comforters and blankets, fluffy non-allergenic pillows, high quality mattress beds, alarm clock, hair dryer, separate heat controls, games and activities, a stereo with cds, fully equipped kitchen and full bath.
There is also a separate cozy area in the back of the house that's The Cook's Cottage. Amenities include large soft towels, comforters and blankets, fluffy non-allergenic pillows, high quality mattress beds, alarm clock, hair dryer, separate heat controls, kitchenette, and jetted bathtub.
We stayed in the Elizabeth's Suite. The suite comes with the full downstairs of the house and access to the exclusive Garden Spa room. There's a great view of the landscaped back yard that can also be booked for wedding ceremonies. The suite is just beautifully decorated with Victorian and antique décor in all of the rooms. The package we booked came with rose petals on the gorgeous canopy bed and handmade lotions and soaps left in the bath. Whether you're melting away the stress in the hot tub, relaxing in the hammock or the front porch swing you'll have a great time to just enjoy life. No worries no time schedules just the peaceful quiet and each other. Here are some great romantic add-on packages that are available massages, chocolate dipped strawberries and champagne, midnight snacks for two, chocolates with wine and bubble bath, chocolates with flowers, and picnic baskets for two. We had a wonderful relaxing stay at Patsy's Place. Once you're there you'll never want to leave. There are tons of little shops & restaurants to visit in historic Fredericksburg, Texas near Patsy's Place you must check out while you're there.
