Her beginnings began when she started a catering company with her two young sons, Bobby and Jamie. - Lady and Sons. She went on to do a cookbook and open a restaurant. Finally, Food Network discovered a star.
What makes Paula Deen a Food Network star? Her personality. Her recipes. Her amazing life. If you want a quick glimpse into Paula's life, personality, and recipes she has a website. PaulaDeen.com. This website is full of her big personality. Or, you can watch any of her shows on Food Network.
Paula just has this almost 'eccentric Great Aunt', 'Cool Grand Ma', or fun neighbor everybody adores. She is very young at heart, but also has alot of wisdom. She is about her family, and it comes thru to this viewer. She simply amuses me with her antics. She's an older woman is SO young at heart, she makes me laughs. She also likes her 'bling' and other cool things outside of just food,
Paula Deen has been getting more shows on Food Network, and rightfully so. Her recent, "Party with Paula", are just fun-filled cooking shows. And it's equally fun, and cooking. It's a nice balance. Paula just loves to have fun. Fun, especially with butter and frying foods. I find that real and tastes good.
Paula has included her family in her shows. We all have been introduced to her sons. Her sons, Bobby and Jamie are cute and know the food industry also. Food Network even gave them their own show after guesting on their Mom's show. Road Tasted, is similar to Rachael Rays self-absorbed road shows.
Road Tasted, had the two brothers seek out local favorites, and participate in making the products ( but no secrets were giving from the owners). The two brothers, to me are fun to watch. They are their Mom's sons! Bobby and Jaimie just come across as real, and not obnoxious.
What else can be said about Paula except she is a cook, she is a real personality, she loves her family - and she just seems real to me as a fan.. I love how she can focus on the food and friends and family. She always seems sincere to me. She is a beautiful older woman, and SPUNKY to the 9nth degree. And, yes, BUTTER is good!
