Pauly D (Paul Delvecchio) to Leave "Jersey Shore" & Start His Own MTV Show

Pauly D must have the rest of the cast of "Jersey Shore" feeling a bit envious. He is leaving the group format show and starting his own solo reality show on MTV. The fourth season of "Jersey Shore" will be a bit different without the gregarious Pauly D. Are any other changes ahead?

Will this new show be set in Seaside, New Jersey too? Or is Pauly D going to be working in some new location? He is originally from Rhode Island, so perhaps the new show will be set there. If he leaves New Jersey the young women of the state will be feeling some angst.

Pauly D: Going Solo on MTV

DJ Pauly D has a huge following, so his new show is sure to be a winner for MTV. On this show he will have more air time to showcase his DJ skills. The music / dance club scene is always interesting to see, show this show should have a solid fan base.

Pauly D has one unique head of hair. It stands upright with the help of a massive amount of gel. He manages to be both highly stylized in his look and yet overall seems like a rough guy. And yet his irrepressible smile also gives him a bit of boyish charm. Pauly D looks like a heart breaker, that's for sure.

Pauly D added a bit of music and macho to "Jersey Shore" He's leaving now and that gives some lucky young actor a chance to perhaps fill his spot on the wildly popular "Jersey Shore." The only constant in the world of TV is change. "Jersey Shore" is having a bit of a shakeup now with the loss of Pauly D, and who knows, others stars in the show may defect too if an interesting solo deal is thrown their way.

The show "Jersey Shore" created a lot of controversy when it started. Many people feel it does not show the real New Jersey. It mostly focuses on the party loving beachy 20-somethings that flock to the party towns of New Jersey such as Seaside and Belmar.

But "Jersey Shore" has been a big success for MTV. Whether people like it as satire of the beach life or just enjoy seeing 20-somethings at play, this show has garnered a lot of viewers.

Pauly D: A New Adventure

The name of Pauly D's new show has not yet been announced. It will start shooting shortly. This show will get a big blast of media attention when the name is announced. It looks like Pauly D's star is rising and a new adventure is starting in his life.
