Paying Someone to Post to Your Forums - a Good Idea?

R
If you owe a Website that has a forum on it, you're giving people a great way to start conversing with one another. They can speak their mind and let others comment on it, and that's one of the best ways for people to start a dialogue about topics that they might not otherwise talk about. Since the Internet is mostly anonymous unless you choose to reveal more about yourself, you can say what you really think without fear of someone actually knowing who you are. You don't endanger yourself, no matter what your opinion is. This makes forums a place for lively debate as long as they are monitored to make sure that no one is getting completely out of hand with them.

But, how do you get people to start using your forums when your site is brand new, or when not a lot of people know about it? When people come to your site and they click on the forum, they want to see that there are discussions that they can join. If there aren't any, they'll go away, and they might not come back. If you're selling a product or service, or if you rely on high traffic for ad revenue, you're going to be disappointed and you're not really going to make much money.

One way to get around that issue is to try paid forum posting. You contract with a company, and the company has writers that come to your forums and post like 'normal' customers and visitors would. They don't say that they are paid forum posters. They just sign up and start talking. Then, visitors to your forums see that there are lively discussions going on. They're much more likely to get on your forums when that's taking place, because they can see that there are other people interested in the same topics that they're interested in. a lot of people need and want to be part of a group, and discussions on forums can help them feel accepted and valued. By hiring forum posters, at least until the forum has good, steady traffic of its own, you'll be doing your business and your forum a huge favor.

Be careful of what paid forum posting company you use, those, because some are much less scrupulous than others. They also have different requirements for the length that posts will be, how many posts will be made per day, and other issues - and of course their pricing might be different, too. Don't just use the first forum posting company that you find. Wait until you find a good one that you feel comfortable with and that you think is professional and courteous. The company should treat you and their writers well, so that all of you can have a long and lasting relationship.
