In 2007, fans began to draw towards blonde bombshell Sarah VonderHaar as she appeared on Cycle 8 of America's Next Top Model. Even though she didn't win the popular modeling reality show, VonderHaar became more well known to fans with the release of her debut album. In 2008, VonderHaar released her critically-acclaimed debut album Are You Listening Now. The album reflects personal experiences VonderHaar endured throughout her personal experiences including wisdom, inspirations, and love. These personal recollections are evident in the positive, up-lifting track "I Got Sunshine", the Pop-Rock ballad expressing high regards to her inspirations in "Everything I'll Be", and the guitar ballad reminiscing on a past love on "It's Not the First Time".
At the tender age of 22, VonderHaar caught the attention of music industry insiders and several magazine publications who were astonished with her Jazz and Pop inspired vocals and versatile songwriting techniques. Several endorsements were soon to follow the heels of VonderHaar's newly found success including Fender Guitars and Sennheiser. Tv.com describes VonderHaar's music as being of "emotion and beauty", while TV Guide states VonderHaar is on the "verge of Pop-Rock stardom". The success of her music displays through various commercials including Chevrolet and Jockey. VonderHaar's music has also broadcast on national campaigns for Go-Gurt Yogurt and Mead Notebooks(found in Target stores).
Sarah VonderHaar recently graced the stages at Kiss FM, appearing on Ty Bentli's Going Viral webcast. On August 4, in front of a live audience, VonderHaar performed an acoustic version of two tracks off her album including "Everything I'll Be" and "All Mine".
