The mahogany casket carrying the remains of Anna Nicole Smith were lifted gently from the private jet which had landed minutes before at the Millionaire's Airport in the Bahamas. The coffin was then draped with a light pink shroud surrounded by long fringe and embellished with the name of Anna Nicole in
rhinestones.

Anna Nicole was pronounced dead at the Hard Rock Casino and Hotel in Florida on February the 8th, 2007, while in the United States with partner, Howard K. Stearn. Smith was alone at the time of death. Dr. Joshua Perper, has announced that results from tests will be known next week as to the cause of Miss Smith's death.

The fight to bury Smith continued earlier today as Virgie Arthur, Anna's estranged mother, requested one more time the right to bury her daughter in her home sate of Texas. Supreme Court Justice, Anita Adams denied the request. The funeral went on as planned.

Smith's casket was taken to, Mount Horeb Baptist Church in Nassau, in a pearl white hearse. Police in the Bahama city, lined the streets decked out in pristine white helmets and vests, while keeping back the crowds and directing traffic.

Vickie Lynn Hogan was born one of six children in Houston Texas on November 28, 1967. She married Bill smith,16, a fry cook in1985. Soon after Anna gave birth to her only son, Daniel Smith. They had separated before Daniel was born. Daniel died in his mothers hospital room, three days after his mother gave birth to a daughter on September 10, 2006. Daniel was found to have had a large quantity of anti-depressants and Methadone in his body. Smith never emotionally overcame Daniel's death. Daniel was put to rest, in his mother's beloved Bahamas.

During a local outing to a local strip club J. Howard Marshall, age 89, oil tycoon and multi-millionaire, met and married one of the strippers, Anna Nicole Smith age 26. After a brief marriage J. Howard died and the court battle began between Smith and Marshall's son, over his fortune. This would be one of many court battles where Anna spent her time and efforts. The battle still goes on after all three deaths involved. It remains unclear who will retain the fortune that was fought over, though, Smith's five month old daughter DannieLynn may possibly inherit.

The color pink, Anna's favorite was the theme of the somber funeral. Smith was shrouded clothed in a pink and white flowered couture gown worthy of a Princess. The pictures that decorated the chapel were of Anna dressed as her hero, Marilyn Monroe. Their was another of Anna with her arms around her beloved Daniel.

Crowds lined the sidewalk outside and the street beyond shouting an occassional, "we love you Anna."
The x- Playmate centerfold, May1992, was escourted down the final red carpet that lay outside of the white columned church by those closest to her.

On one side of the chapel, Smith's partner and the proclaimed father of Dannielynn sat wiping away the tears. Behind him sat, Larry Burkhead and his lawyer. Burkhead claiming to be Smith's x-lover, has filed to prove paternity of Smith's five month old daughter. The other side of the church sat Smith's estranged mother, Virgie Arthur who maintains that Smith should be buried in her native Texas. All presented spoken eulogies. One of Smith's favorite song, "The Wings of a Snow White Dove' was sung.

Smith was taken to be buried beside her beloved son Daniel at Lakeview Memorial Gardens. White doves were released.
Restaurant owner and friend of Smith, Tamisha Grant said, "Anna's soul is finally at peace."
Anna Nichole Smith was just 39.
