You
could never
make me hate
your race or family
or even you for anything
that happened through history and religion
though it is the easiest of things
for me, and many other people on Earth
and there is enough blame to go around thrice
That reminds me of the Trinity I claim to worship
The second person of which is my Savior, Sustainer and Redeemer,
Who forgave me for more sins than one could dream ... through love ...
Agape: the Jesus way - no doubt implemented by Martin Luther King and Gandhi -
And therefore, if I am to walk the talk and begin to make change,
The change I wish to see in the world must begin with me through forgiveness.
Though I fall and fail, this short tale is one of sharing the freedom through loving!

- there is so much freedom in refusing to hate, and this freedom can only be known through personal
- reflection, prayer and study ... and comparing these real freedoms with the freedom to hate, speak
- and write with ... chips on one's shoulder or having axes to grind.
Martin Luther King and Gandhi "experimented with this truth" to paraphrase one of Gandhi's book titles; this is not new territory but the sweet freedoms can only come through practice.
