Peach Cobbler Quicky: A Peachy Recipe

A Peach Recipe that Will Make Your Mouth Water!

Linda StCyr
Peaches come in many varieties including fresh Georgia peaches, canned peaches, American peaches, August Pride, Empress, and over a thousand more varieties. Whatever peaches you fancy, one of the best peach recipes to make is peach cobbler. I don't think I've ever met anyone who said no to a homemade peach cobber fresh from the oven.

You can make peach cobbler from any kind of peaches you desire. If you are on time constraints then canned peaches may be the best way for you to go. Here is a quick, tasty peach cobbler recipe that will have your family drooling and as a bonus it will cost approximately $10 dollars to make and be done in approximately 30 minutes or less.

Peach Cobbler Quicky- A Peachy Recipe
You Will Need:
1 (15oz) can of sliced peaches in light syrup
1/2 cup of unsalted butter (softened)
1 cup white sugar (super fine)
1 cup of self-rising flour (Gold Medal is a good brand for this)
1 cup of 2% milk
2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
Cinnamon
Nutmeg
Optional: Old Fashion Vanilla Ice Cream

How to Make Peach Cobbler Quicky:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a 9in. x 9in. baking dish (preferably glass) combine softened unsalted butter and super fine white sugar. Mix together with a wooden spoon until the butter and sugar make a light and creamy mixture. Add in the self-rising flour into the creamy mixture to create an even batter. Slowly add in one cup of milk, vanilla extract and a pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg. Whip the ingredients together until the batter is even. Scoop out approximately 1 cup of the batter and put off to the side. Smooth the batter evenly over the bottom of the baking dish. Pour the can of sliced peaches over the batter. Slowly drizzle the left over batter over the peaches. Place in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until cobbler turns a light golden brown color.
Serve warm with a scoop of Old Fashion Vanilla Ice Cream.

Optional:
You may sing the song Peaches by The Presidents of the United States of America while whipping the ingredients together.
