Peach Cobbler Recipie

If you love any type of cobbler then you'll love this simple homemade peach cobbler. I and my family have loved this recipe for a very long time, so I decided to share it with you!

HOMEMADE PEACH COBBLER

Things you will need:

2 1/2 pounds ripe, juicy peaches
3/4 cup of sugar
4 drops of some almond extract
pinch of cinnamon
2 tablespoons butter
biscuit top (directions are below)

1) Preheat the oven to 425°F while you're making everything

2) You need to peel and slice the peaches into triangle wedges. Throw away the pits. Then put them in a shallow 6 cup casserole dish.

3) Sprinkle the sugar and the almond extract over the peaches. Then dot the butter over it.

4) Cover with rolled out biscuit dough.

Biscuit Top:

Things you will need:

1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 cup butter or shortening
1/2 cup milk minus 1 tablespoon

1) Mix together flour, salt and baking powder.

2) Put in the butter using your fingertips.

3) Stir in the milk, stirring it with a fork until all the dough sticks together.

4) Roll out dough to 1/4'"

5) Then place it over the peaches.

6) Trim the edges

7) , crimp the edges with your fingers to seal.

8) Poke a hole in the top center for steam to vent.

9) Bake in hot 425° oven for 15 minutes

10) Reduce to 325°F.

11) Bake for an extra 10 until peaches are cooked and top is gold.

12) Serve with your favorite ice cream.
