These peanut butter candies will melt the heart of your sweetie any day of the year!

Peanut Butter Hearts

Mix together:
1 1/2 cups peanut butter (Jif is my favorite)
1 lb (3 1/2 cups) powdered sugar
1 stick butter softened or melted

Press flat onto wax paper and cut into heart shapes using a small cookie cutter, take out extra around cut hearts and repeat until all peanut butter fill is used up.

Melt 1/2 bar paraffin wax and add
1 pack of chocolate chips ,
Mix until melted.

Using two toothpicks, dip hearts one at a time into chocolate dip and replace on waxed paper. Before they set you can decorate with nuts, white slivers of icing, chopped chocolate, sprinkles, cocoa, or powdered sugar. Allow to set for 15 minutes or until firm.

(Side note: This recipe can be used at Easter with an egg shaped cookie cutter, on Independence Day with a star shaped cutter, at Thanksgiving with a leaf cutter, or at Christmas with a tree shaped cutter.)
