PectaSol: Safe and Effective Treatment for Lead and Toxin Poisoning
Modified Citrus Peels Eliminate Exposure to Lead Poisoning
Most likely contamination occurs from lead poisoning when children (12 -36 months) are apt to put things in their mouths, including peeling lead paint. Also lead dust or contaminated soil around the home harmful when inhaled. Other sources of lead contamination found in lead water pipes or plumbing. 1 Children exposed to toys imported have been known to contain lead besides the toxin has been detected in antique toys and collectibles. Older plastic toys made with lead when exposed to sunlight and detergent break down the chemical bond, forming a toxic dust.3
According to the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry estimated in the United States one in every six children has a high level of lead in their blood. 1 Also, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention ascertains approximately 310,000 children in the United States less than five years old have "higher-than-desirable blood lead levels". This is more widely prevalent among children living in industrialized areas and communities in older homes and developing countries. 2 Blood tests can detect the amount lead exposure and home test kits are available to detect the presence of lead on surfaces, water and paint (http://www.leadtestkits.net/index.html).
A common method to treat lead poisoning has been chelation therapy: An amino acid (synthetic solution 4) called EDTA (ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid) or marketed as Disodium, Edetate, Endrate and Sodium Versenate intravenously injected binds to toxic lead (or mercury) in the blood. Then the compound is excreted in the urine. 5 "The process generally takes between 1 and 3 hours." 4 During the 1960s EDTA speculated to help remove accumulation of calcium deposits treating narrowing of arteries thus preventing atherosclerosis, common cause of heart attacks. The American Heart Association has not substantiated EDTA treatment for calcium deposits. 5
When ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid is administered to children, an accurate dosage is required according to lead amount in the blood as well as the height and weight. Also, medication must be administered slowly and scheduled twenty-four hours apart, and serious side effects are known to occur. The treatment depletes vitamins and minerals essential in the body, requiring administering a supplement. The injection site reported to have a burning sensation. Other side effects of chelation therapy reported includes: Dangerously low blood pressure, kidney failure, irregular heartbeat, organ damage, headache, low blood sugar, nausea, seizures and the possibility of death. 4
PectaSol is a natural supplement containing modified citrus pectin (MCP - Made from citrus peel which contains hundreds or thousands of sugar molecules chemically linked together as a carbohydrate and safely absorbed by the digestive tract. 9) safe antidote for lead toxicity in children. 6 PectaSol developed through clinical research conducted in Children's Hospital, Zhegiang University School of Medicine, Republic of China in collaboration effort with Northern California EcoNugenics, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) - Agriculture Research Service (ARS) and the Chinese Medical Children's Hospital researchers. PectaSol oral chelator (medicine remove heavy metal such as lead or mercury 7) reduces heavy metal toxicity in children without depleting essential minerals in the body. PetaSol binds to the toxic lead in the blood which is later excreted in the urine and stools.
A study confirming the successful treatment of PectaSol published in the July / August 2008 issue of Alternative Therapies in Health and Medicine, a peer-reviewed publication. Another study published in Forschende Komplementarmedizin (Research in Complementary Medicine) December/ January 2008 confirms PectaSol removed toxic lead and mercury from adults (Five adults in a study) who have chronic health concerns, including prostate cancer, adrenal fatigue, depression, IBS, and allergies. 8 Removal of toxic heavy metals in the body, PectaSol prevents the cause of Alzheimer's and heart disease. 11 The long term use of PectaSol according to various research studies proven as a save natural chelating compound. 8 However, those who are allergic to citrus fruits may have an allergic reaction when taking modified citrus pectin. Also, rarely powdered pectin linked to cause asthma when inhaled. 9
PectaSol may help reduce Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) doubling time in prostate cancer patients or slow down the spread of cancer cells according to scientific studies. These studies included animal and uncontrolled human studies which may inhibit the spread of melanoma to other organs. 9 PactaSol binds to cancer cells preventing the cells from sticking to each other thus preventing the spread of cancer cells to other areas in the body. 10 Currently no controlled clinical studies have confirmed the effectiveness of PactaSol inhibit cancer growth. 9
Available modified citrus pectin in powder or capsules. 9 Suggested usage: "Take 3 capsules daily with food or directed by your health care professional." 12
In July 2008 Food and Drug Administration send letters to twenty-three U.S. companies and two foreign individual marketing a wide range of products against claiming to prevent and cure cancer. Among the fake cancer 'Cures" Consumer should avoid according to the FDA includes PectaSol. 13
