Pedal Energy Source

Human Generated Energy by Use of a Pedal

*Shell*
As a whole, the human race has tendencies to become resourceful when times call for it. In today's world wide, economy, the case is just that. Inventors of the past and present ponder on ways to use old techniques and sources to create a better quality, economically safe, energy supply for society.

Inspired by the invention in almost every household around the world, the bicycle, inventors, researchers, and scientist have come up with new and improved ways to produce energy by using human powered energy.

Most commonly used and familiar to most is the use of pedal power in transportation (i.e. the bicycle), but the newest brains storming ideas have emerged into the public eye. Among them is the use of human energy to power laptops, grinders, wells, power tools, microwaves, blenders, generators, and almost anything you can think of that is generated by electricity now. I have even come across a case where a hotel offered their guest the chance to power their light bulbs in this way! In my opinion that is ridiculous, and very humorous, but hey that's just my opinion!
