Peddler's Paws so Far One Disorganized Company

Peddler's Paws is a new webstore for WAHM, slated for grand opening on Sept 1, 2008. Like most these programs it is a requirement to join a yahoo, or a forum, so your up to date on all information. When I joined, there was already over 300 members, so the first thought was wow, that is the most I have ever seen for a company and it is not opened yet. Soon I found out why there was that many. The owners had this group already for animal stories, and rescues. The way this group was set up you either got individual emails or you get what is called a daily digest. The daily digest once there is 25 messages it will mail it to your email. So you email gets quickly filled with emails, the digest was coming six times a day, and hardly anything had to do with the business that was about to be launched.

When the owner was questioned , about maybe separating the business from the chit-chat of the animals, her excuse was people are getting to know each other, and if it was important she would put the word "ATTENTION" or "IMPORTANT" as the heading. With so many messages pouring in, this is very easily over looked. Recently they had a contest which many did not participate in because it was one day and again with so much chit chat it got lost. Another problem with the contest was, as many reps have said to me was they had during the day and there are those that do work, not every independent distributor is a stay at home mom.

This program does not want help from those that tried to give advice, if you disagree and you're a member, you will be kicked out. I had a few ex members tell me that this happened to them, as well as myself. The store has not even opened yet, and there already so much disorganization. In all honesty this program needs organization.

It maybe a great program, but it has to get organized. To run a successful program, you have to be organized. Have to remember that you are relying on people to sell a product, and they have to be kept informed. Even if it is more work on your part. I myself do run a successful program, so I know how hard it is, you have to be open and take critism even if it isn't what you want to hear. Peddler's Paws does not want to hear any this. In the past when a program was disorganized like this it has gone under, time will tell if this happens to Peddler's Paws.
