Peggle is an addictive arcade game available on your Xbox and on your PC. This game is basically shooting a ball at bricks, trying to hit all the blocks you can. Its extremely simple and addictive. There are 4 types of bricks, blue, orange, purple, and green. Blue bricks are the most common, and they only increase your score. To clear the level, you have to hit all the red blocks. Purple Blocks are worth 10 times as much as blue blocks, but there is only 1 purple block available each ball you shoot. If you don't hit it during your turn, another blue block will turn purple, and the last purple block will turn blue. Green blocks are special attacks, such as space blast, and fireball. These help you get more blocks than normal, and can be the deciding factor in a win loss situation.

You can get Peggle for 800 Microsoft points on the marketplace, which is where I got it from. This game has an online mode where you can play with up to 4 Friends, and you can also matchmake with random players. Its fun to play adventure mode though, and mainly, your goal is to clear all levels full of blocks, instead of just the red ones. Its very time consuming and a good break from Call of Duty or AvP. If I were you, I would buy it. And if you still arent convinced, get the trial game. Its worth your time to download it.

Also, I would quickly like to talk about another game called heavy weapon. This game is also from pop cap. You are a tank, and your goal is to defeat the communists in Russia. If you happen to have some free time, I would try that game out to. And it is pretty cheap at only 400 Microsoft points. In conclusion, I hope you try these games out, they are worth your time.
