Pelosi Holds FBI and NASA Hostage to Her Leftist Agenda

She's Against English-Only Amendment

Robert Douglas
Well, she promised America a "new direction" if her and her minions (read: Lib Dems) get elected last year. Now, Nancy Pelosi is fulfilling that promise and more, much to the detriment of the overwhelming majority of Americans.

Nancy is holding up a $53 BILLION dollar appropriations bill that funds the FBI, the Justice Department and NASA. Why? Because there's an attached amendment that would prohibit the funding of EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission) lawsuits against English-only rules in the workplace. It seems the EEOC has filed over 200 lawsuits against employers over English-only rules.

The implications of her obstructionism are vast. From a small private store to a large Federal organization, she wants to dictate her political agenda that would force employers to allow non-English language in their workplace. Great idea, Nancy. What a twit.

And if this went through, you, as an employer, would have to pay legal fees to defend your workplace policy against the might of the EEOC attorneys. Synchro Start Products, a company in Chicago, found out the hard way what the EEOC and its Leftist agenda can do to your business. They had to pay out $55,000 to settle a legal suit against its English-only policy. Why, you may ask, did they insist on this? It turns out, oddly enough, that the use of multiple languages led to "miscommunication". That's a nice way of saying that things got screwed up royally due to minority pandering by the federal government.

What would you do if you started up a hardware store and started hiring employees to staff it? Some Hispanics apply, some Germans want in, and maybe a few Cambodians. You can't turn them down due to their race, creed, color or national origin. So you hire them. Now your customers come in and the first person they meet is Paco. He's nice enough and appears to want to help you, but you can't understand a freaking thing he's saying. And, he can't understand you! Isn't Lib politics great?

So now you decide you have to let them go, as you are almost bankrupt. You do, and then get subpoenaed to appear before a federal court. You can't afford an attorney and all the legal fees, so you close down the business. All because you insisted on your employees to speak English in a store in America. Who's the victim here? Immigrants that refuse to learn English or you? The answer's clear.

The Salvation Army is facing this travesty over its policy for its employees to speak English. What do you think will happen to the space program if someone is communicating in a tongue other than English? Do you really want the FBI to hire employees that speak only Farsi? The ramifications are endless and she's in need of psychiatric intervention over this ludicrous behavior.

The mainstream media has been relatively silent on this. The maddening aspect to this is that both the House and the Senate passed the amendment in question! She' s going against the will of the average American and there's hardly any outrage. According to a new Rasmussen poll, 87% of voters (all parties) think it's very important that people speak English in the USA. And get this: four out of five Hispanics agree! Furthermore, 77% support the right of employers to have English only policies. What doesn't this woman understand about that?

I guarantee if Bush or a Repub even attempted this, heads would be rolling. Where the hell areTed Kennedy, Harry Reid, and all the usual suspects? Silence. The voice of the person in the street is held hostage to political pandering of the worst kind.

Kucinich and others would do well to call for her removal from her position as Speaker of the House, rather than impeach Bush. She no longer represents the will of the people.

Rather than deleting your unintelligible rant, Deez, I'm leaving it on here to display the true meanness and hatred-spewing BS that Lib Leftists like you engage in. You didn't read the article, did you? You just engaged in a drive-by, derated the article and put your venomous remarks on the page. OP/ED is based on facts. Sure it's an opinion, but the opinion is based on the fact that she is holding up the funding due to her pandering to the Hispanic community. Look it up. The House and Senate both passed the amendment supporting English-only. You Libs sure don't like facts to get in the way of your twisted agenda.

Thankyou. I don't think anyone understands her position on this one.
