Pencil Printer Uses No Ink; You Can Erase Your Mistakes

Let us face the truth about printers together. Companies are always touting to us how they have the best printer and the most affordable printer on the market. A lot of these advertised deals seem like great bargains and we end up buying one because a printer today is a basic necessity. We discover soon after that the printer was not such a great deal because of all the ink that we have to purchase for replacement over the years. One designer is trying to change that with the Pencil Printer.

My first reaction to hearing about the Pencil Printer is what in the world could this be. A review of the machine in action left me impressed and wondering why there are not hundreds of these printers on the market today. The concept is as basic as you might think of it being. Designer Hoyoung Lee has managed to create a way in which you insert a pencil into a printer. The printer will then precede to print your documents by using the pencil lead instead of ink.

Basically the printer is changing printer ink powder and using pencil powder in its placement. In order to work the printer must first have a pencil inserted into it. The printer will then go ahead and grind the pencil down into "pencil powder". You will then have the ability to print with pencil instead of ink. In case you were wondering where the leftover wood goes it happens to be evaporated by the electric process of grinding the pencil down in the first place.

Perhaps an added extra and just as cool aspect to the Pencil Printer is the ability to erase mistakes. The printer has a built in eraser that can erase any mistakes that you notice. You can also go ahead and erase mistakes yourself and rewrite what was supposed to be printed in the first place. This can save you from wasting multiple pieces of paper while trying to get the perfect document prepared. A smart extra on an already pretty cool printer.

Several designers and companies have tried to create pencil printers in the past. Some of them have been successful but never went the route of having them mass produced due to errors becoming ever present. This version of the Pencil Printer seems to work error free and could be on the market early next year. How can you go wrong with a product that will save you hundreds of dollars over your lifetime instead of spending that money on something that was once advertised to be cheap.
