Reputable info-tainment and celebrity news source, People Magazine, is reporting that actress Penelope Cruz is married! Penelope Cruz and fiance, actor Javiar Bardem, apparently tied the knot in an intimate island wedding ceremony which included only close friends and family.

The Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem wedding was apparently held in the Bahamas sometime in early July, and was staged quietly at the home of a friend. Actress Penelope Cruz and hew hubby, Javier Bardem, have both won Oscars for their work in Hollywood. The couple had been dating for about three years before making it official. See photos here!

It isn't hard to figure out why the Penelope Cruz wedding was so low key; Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem have always been pretty hush-hush. The couple doesn't often speak publicly about their relationship, and wouldn't confirm their rumored engagement in 2009.

There aren't any Penelope Cruz wedding pictures available yet, but People Magazine was able to give a short description of the A-list star's wedding dress: "The bride wore a gown designed by designer John Galliano, a longtime friend of the actress."
