How Do Humans Measure Up?

Generally, when one talks about penis size, he or she is talking about human penis size. Men have long wondered whether or not their penis is an adequate length or girth, whether they will be able to please a woman with their penis, or whether size matters in the first place. But how does human penis size rank with others penises in the animal kingdom. Men will be interested to know that they both dwarf some of the competition and get dwarfed by some more. Here are a list of mammal families and how their penis size measures up to ours.

Primates

Men will be happy to know that humans have the largest primate penis with respect to overall body size. Gorillas oddly enough have one of the smallest primate penises, despite the fact that they are the largest primates on Earth. Gorillas penis size averages around a paltry two inches. Chimpanzees are much smaller than gorillas, yet sport a penis twice as long.

Bovines

Bulls sport one of the largest penises in the animal kingdom, with some reaching two and a half feet in length. It's a good thing for rodeo clowns.

Elephants

African bull elephants hold the title of the largest relative penis size in the animal kingdom. The longest elephant penis can grow up to six and a half feet long.

Marine Mammals

The blue whale technically has the largest penis in the world, though it ranks behind the African elephant as the most-endowed relative to body size. An adult blue whale penis can be eight feet long! Also, certain whales and dolphins are actually able to control their penises to a certain extent, much like an extra limb, to facilitate mating in the absence of grasping limbs.

Rodents

Rodents have the smallest penises in terms of absolute size in the animal kingdom. The title of smallest overall penis belongs to the common shrew, whose penis is about a fifth of an inch long. However, in terms of penis size relative to overall body size, the rodents are well-endowed.

Pigs

Pigs have some of the largest penises relative to body size. Some pigs can have penises up to a foot and a half long. Babe must have been a stud in the barnyard if he grew up to sport that thing.

Equines

There's some credence behind the old saying "hung like a horse." A stallion's penis can reach a length of a foot and a half long.

These are just a few examples of the diversity of penis size in the animal kingdom. Although humans will never measure up to an elephant, blue whale, or even a pig, men can at least be grateful that they are the most endowed member of the primate family.
