Penn State Blows Out Youngstown State 44-14 (Video)

Penn State Starts the Season with a Win

The Penn State Nittany Lions started the 2010 college football season with a 44-14 victory over Youngstown State at State College, PA. The first half of the game was not a cakewalk for Penn State, as Youngstown State took a 7-3 lead after an 80-yard touchdown run-after-reception. The Penn State starting defense didn't give up another score, however, and the PSU offense finally started moving the football. The big story of the game was Penn State quarterback Rob Bolden. The true freshman settled down after a first half interception en route to completing 20 of 29 pass attempts for 240 yards and two touchdowns. Cory Giger and Neil Rudel of the Altoona Mirror discussed the Penn State victory after the game, and the video can be viewed below.
