Bingo is primarily considered an activity for senior citizens and elderly due to the laidback environment and relaxed style of play, but it can be a fun and inexpensive form of gaming for anyone over the age of 18. Pennsylvania itself is home to many bingo halls that are dedicated strictly to the game, though other bingo events are held in various venues and establishments all throughout the state.


Breckenridge, Pennsylvania offers weekly bingo sessions at the American Legion Post 226 and sponsored by the Highlands Golden Rams Diamond Club. Games feature all-nighter specials and magic numbers. Bingo games are scheduled for 7:00 PM every Thursday night. The venue offers separate smoking and non-smoking sections to accommodate all patrons.

Junior Achievement Bingo takes place in the Hopewell Shopping Center in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania. The doors to the bingo hall open at 4:30 PM on Monday through Friday. Gaming at Junior Achievement Bingo features star burst double pays, magic numbers and quickies. The bingo hall itself features cushioned seating and 25" television monitors to watch the progress of each game. Lit parking is available in the parking lot of the Hopewell Shopping Center.

Bingo games are held at Woodland Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on five days of the week. All bingo sessions are scheduled from 12:00 PM to 11:00 pm and take place on Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Located in Boston, Pennsylvania, and a part of Elizabeth Township, Boston Spectrum features regularly scheduled bingo games that are hosted by the Greenock Volunteer Fire Company. The bingo hall itself features a well-lit parking lot and is capable of seating up to 400 people. Handicap accommodations are also available at the venue. Paper and computer-based bingo games are offered. Games are held every Tuesday and Friday at 7:15 PM.

The Rainbow Room Bingo Hall is located in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Scheduled games are held Tuesday through Saturday at 7:00 PM each night. The establishment features 15 color monitors and 7 flashboards for gaming. Games are played using paper cards, electronic handheld units or electronic sit-down units.
