Pensacola Trick or Treaters

Be Careful and Look in All Four Directions when Driving Tonight

Malina Debrie
Groups of Pensacola's most valuable assets will be out in droves tonight. They will be walking, running and moving in all directions, in and out of the streets around the area. They will be having fun while trick or treating. Make sure and drive slowly, watching very carefully for all the little ones as they go about ringing thousands of doors collecting candies and goods as they travel about. Many will be with parents relatives or friends. Some will not. Whatever their situation, drive safely watching out for them.

Make sure everyone on the road tonight returns home safe and sound. Observe the following rules of the road while driving every night and tonight:

* Don't drink and drive!

* Drive slowly observing the speed limits on all roads!

* Use you high beams on roads where children may be out trick or treating!

* Use your high beams in subdivisions!

* Observe the speed limit on all roadways and major highways!

* When you see any moving object, slow down!

* If you do not need to be out on the road driving, don't!
