First Group: The Librarians. One way they can help you is tell you where to find a book you are looking for. The second is teach you how to use the library catalog system.
Second Group: The Campus Police. If you want an escort to your car because you do not feel safe, you should call them. You should also call them if you witness a campus crime or you are the victim of one.
Third Group: The Lab Consultants. These are the people who work in the labs and can likely be found behind the main desk in the room. They should be able to assist you in solving a math problem, giving you guidance on writing a class paper, telling you how to do something specific on a computer you are using, etc.
Fourth Group: Your Professors. You should ask them to clarify something they say in class, if you are confused about it. You should visit them during their office hours for any extra help you need pertaining to your textbooks, your class work that has been graded, etc.
Fifth Group: The Teacher Assistants and Department Receptionists. They might be able to answer your questions if your instructors are not in their offices when you make a visit.
Sixth Group: The School Tour Guides. They should be able to help you find your way around if you are a new student there. They can also tell you some information on the departments and events.
Seventh Group: The Janitors. You could come running to them if you left your stuff in a room that is now locked.
Eighth Group: Those who work in the Cashier's Office. They will probably be willing to give you five one-dollar bills for a five-dollar bill.
Ninth Group: The Academic Advisors. They can steer you down the right path in regard to making a good choice on what courses you should take.
Tenth Group: Your Fellow Students. They may be able to help you understand your course material or give you advice on being successful at your university.
