People Continue to Ask How They Can Help the Economy

Buy American Products

David C. Atkin
You hear people ask this question all the time, but are they really ready to help, or do they do just to make themselves feel like an American, the answer is not all that hard, more people need to take the time to find, and buy American made products.

It does truly start with the big items like cars, a person driving a Mercedes Benz was asking me this question just last week, he's one of my friends, but doesn't even stop to think how dumb it sounds when you ask that question, but don't really want to hear the answer.

The truthful answer is that you should buy American cars, and give our automakers a chance to prove themselves, I can cite literally hundreds of places on the web where people in this country have discovered the truth about things.

The truth is that the importers are no better at building a car then we are, I'm here to tell you, if you would some research on the issue before you just go out and buy an import car, you may be completely surprised what you find I wasn't because I know the truth.

It really doesn't impress any real American people when they see you pull up in your big fancy German car, as a matter of fact a true American is very unimpressed with such an event, I could take to to BMW, and Mercedes owner sites that would sown you that.

So now that we have the car thing out of the way, let's talk about another big purchase, how about the LCD, or plasma TV that hangs on your wall, rather then buying that Samsung, how about looking at an LG first, and yes just because their made in the USA.

I'm sure it's going to surprise you to know that LG builds a very high quality TV, and let's talk washers and dryers, in this case you have a lot of choices of products that are built in this country, such as May Tag: Whirlpool; Kitchen Aid, and many more.

I have studied this, and done a lot of research on the issue of buying American, it's true you can save a little money by buying things at Wal Mart, but you can save by buying at Target also, and they sell a lot more American made products.

It's time to quit worrying about buying the product that can save you a huge fifty cents here and there, and worry about the products that will help your country the most, and I think you might remember this old saying, you get what you pay for, it's 100% true.

Before you purchase any products look for the made in the USA logo on it, and even if you have to pay fifty cents more for it, think of it as being a true American, and helping your country out of the problems that it's having right now.

You may have something like this running through your head about now, I didn't cause the problems that our country is having, but that stands to reason, if you quit buying American made products for any reason, you have contributed to the problem.
