But recently, a lot of people had been laid off because Dubai was also hit by the global economic crises. Really, it is almost impossible to believe. But it is true.
As of last month, more than 3000 vehicles were abandoned at the Dubai Airport, some with their keys still in the ignition, as people hurriedly left the country. Panic set in when the economic problems arose. Imagine that. Who would have thought?
Anyway, that just got me to thinking. If people in Dubai are leaving, where else would they go? The United States and Great Britain are not doing so well, too. So if not the Middle East where else?
And the bigger question would be, who is gaining when everybody is losing? Who is controlling the global economic environment?
Our lives in this world just goes on in a circle. So why are we all experiencing these difficulties?
