For starters a census is when a population record that is made and shows what the population is in cities and towns in the U.S, and it is given every ten years. But now there are people leaving smaller cities and going to inner city suburbs. , but the question is why is this happening? There could be many reasons that people are leaving and going to suburbs and small towns, but one of them is that cities are becoming over crowded with poverty and families don't want to raise their families in that environment. Another reason is that "small tows appeal to people more than cities and their quality of life" Mark Mather. Said by associate vice president of the nonprofit Population Reference Bureau. "But as more people move in, small towns and suburbs they start to lose the qualities that attracted people there in the first place"." I just didn't like the noise and a small apartment for the high cost just wasn't worth staying in the city and raiding a family" said Susan Kenely. Some people think that people will stop moving out of cites soon because people simply don't want to commute to go to a store. Nevertheless; it looks like people are going to continue to leave small cities to go to small towns and suburbs since they appeal to people more than cities. It looks like the population continues to get less and less people in cities and small towns and suburbs continue to grow in population.
The new census reveals that population is going down in cites and going up in small towns and cities. The questions on many people's minds are will people continue to move out of cites or is this just a onetime thing, and people will stay in the cities.
