People Who Maligned Jacko Should Not Try to Escape by Shifting Responsibilty on to Martin Bashir

One Mistake Cannot Be Washed Away by Committing Another Mistake

Martin Bashir was a media guy who was sent here to report what he saw in Neverland.

Not a judge sitting over a court to pass judgment over Michael Jackson.

Especially at that time he was a foreign journalist employed by a foreign media company the BBC.

Trying to shift the guilt of maligning Jacko on a dark-skinned journalist or just because his last name is Bashir is the ultimate hypocrisy and racism so prevalent in our society.

If we malign a guy, let it be done boldly with facts. And never retract our position like cowards and look for a scapegoat.

If we honestly feel we made a mistake, the best policy is to apologize. That is the manly way of doing it.

If we malign a guy without justification, but foolishly find it beneath our dignity to acknowledge our mistake, at least let us have the guts not to look for any scapegoats!

That is the ultimate form of hypocrisy and cowardice.

Gossip is one thing. Making unjustified accusations another.

If anybody made mistakes, be man enough to admit it. Don't be cowards to go on endlessly looking for scapegoats.

Jacko left without any complaints against anybody. So nobody need to feel any pressure to shift their responsibility in maligning him while he was alive.

But if anybody is feeling pricks in his conscience, that won't disappear by blaming Martin Bashir.

If we made a mistake and don't want to apologize or correct ourselves, at least don't compound our foolishness by finding scapegoats.

One racist mistake cannot be corrected by another racist mistake.

High time we behave as humans who can sin, rather than pretend as Gods who did or can commit no sins. Then we won't feel the pressure to blame anybody for our own faults.

Let us be bold enough to admit we made a mistake, and since we cannot make adequate amends as the guy is no more, the only way we can atone ourselves is by deciding not to make that mistake again.

One mistake cannot be washed away by committing another mistake. Otherwise, we will still be inventing thousands of lies even after a decade with no end in sight.

Just because we are Americans, we need not feel the pressure to justify ourselves when we make a mistake. Just admit it. It the simplest the thing other than the better option of not maligning a fellow human being in the first place.
