People Treasures: Everyone Needs a Natlie Jones

The name is not really important, but the person and the things she brings to this world are priceless. Although, I believe there is only one Natalie Jones in my life, I believe that others may find similar "people treasures" in their life.

So today I share with you the very best and some of the worst parts of Natalie with the you meet her, or someone like her.

~ Natalie lives in the moment
Nothing is more important than the people right in front of her at this very moment. The world stops completely for a moment and you can feel it. Oh, it is always very clear that her plate is full and as soon as she has given you the gift of love and quality time, she still has others to serve.

~ Natalie knows how to cry and how to laugh and maintains the perfect balance.
This is much harder than it sounds. She seems to listen with her heart and knows which is best for her and the people around her. Many people say there are only two choices laugh or cry - so you might as well laugh. But Natalie knows, maybe by pure instinct, when it is time to make the crying choice.

~ Natalie knows how to get really angry and how to get over it.
She can spout off with the best of them. The difference is after the explosion she is the one cleaning up the mess and putting the pieces back together. She simply does not know how to hold a grudge. With a wave of a hand and a quick smile she brings balance back to her world and those around her.

~ Natalie is a little scatter-brained
One day I watched her jump back and forth between jobs, deliver diet coke to those in need, lose her car keys and get her job done. I had an epiphany. Her brain and heart are just too full of good things to stay on one focus too long. So those who know her well help with things like keys and unimportant details of life.

Why am I choosing to share Natalie with the world? People, all people, are treasures. We need to search, appreciate, show gratitude and celebrate them. So, when a Natalie Jones passes through your life, I hope you remember this little article. I hope that you stop the world just for a moment and smile, appreciate and celebrate that person.

I hope that by writing this I will learn to become a little more like a Natalie Jones. For if I do not learn, grow and change then what is the point of living.

Disclaimer: The person in this article is real, the name used may or may not be. Those who know the author may know the answer.
