as one of the most accurate people searches on the Web.
If reviews were based solely on appearances, PeopleFinders.com would win hands down-every time. As soon
as you land on the home page you notice a distinct absence of flashy banner ads, kitschy images of
smiling people embracing or a mile long list of links (which has sadly become the norm for most people
search sites). From the start, PeopleFinders.com gives you the business end of a powerful people search tool
PeopleFinders.com homepage features a logo, a search box and 10 search categories to choose from: people
search, background check, criminal check, sex offender lookup, business, unclaimed property, bankruptcies and
liens, property, marriage and divorce, death search.
PeopleFinders.com has a centerd layout that displays nicely in
any browser.. It is possible to refine each by input by manipulating the tabs at the top of each search box.
Though It does not even come close to qualifying as an advertisement or promotion, People Finders does have
an opt in box, a very small one at that, for their newsletter. We opted in to the PeopleFinders.com newsletter
and received some pretty good discounts.
PeopleFinders.com also displays testimonials in the footer of each page. These testimonials come from actual
customers and cover a wide-range of people search successes. In the same vein, PeopleFinders.com has "Tell
us your story," feature which allows users to share their people finder stories. Each month, PeopleFinders.com
selects one of these stories. Whoever submitted the selected story receives a free month-long membership to

Search Results so Accurate, "They're Scary!"
In the process of testing out PeopleFinders.com search, I ran my wife's name through their database,
she happened to be sitting next to me when I did this. My wife's father was in the military and her parents
were also divorced when she was 5. Therefore, she tended to move around a lot and live with different during various
periods of her childhood.
My wife was shocked and somewhat amazed to see all of her childhood addresses, except one, listed on the computer
screen. She then demanded that I hand over the computer immediately.
"This site is scary!" she exclaimed.
Unlike any other people search site on the Web, PeopleFinders.com lists possible relatives with for each person
searched. My wife had more than 15 relatives listed, some of which were in-laws.
That same day, we had company over and my wife was going on about how accurate the
PeopleFinders.com search results had been. One of our visitors was not
convinced. He firmly believed that only the police of F.B.I had access to that type of information.
He dared me to look him up on People Finders. I did just that and not only did the results list all of his former
residences, but also a conviction for possessing illegal fireworks that he had received more than 10 years ago.
Needless to say, none of my friends want me to look them up anymore.
Having put all my friends off by letting their skeletons out of the closet, I waited until they left before testing
the search anymore. When they did, I put
PeopleFinders.com through the paces.
I looked up people that had been marred numerous times, people that had purchased homes together without being married,
people that had died and people that I knew moved around a lot and tended not to update their address.
With each search, I was able to locate my subject with minimal effort. Sure, I did not always get the result I
wanted right from the get go, very rarely was the case, but with the possible relatives and maiden and married
name often listed with each search result, It was easy to focus my search in a new direction and ultimately
achieve success.
Better Than the Rest
I can say that PeopleFinders.com is definitely one of the best, if not the best, people search sites on the Web.
PeopleFinders.com charges
the industry standard for all of its search types. However, I believe the quality of data makes People Finders a
far better value than any other site on the Web.
I also tested PeopleFinders.com Custom Service Department. I received prompt answers to all 3 e-mails that I
sent. I also called People Finders' Customer Service on two occasions. I was never put on hold and my call
was answered promptly and in a very professional manner.
My only complaint is that the telephone contact information is very hard to find.
In conclusion, I would have to give
PeopleFinders.com 10 out of 10. In my opinion, I think it would be hard to find a Web-based people search
service that offers access to so many records and includes possible relatives with each search.

Post a CommentI ordered a $1.95 name search. Peoplefinders.com charged me $24.95 and will not refund it. These people stole my money. I did not authorize it at all - be careful!
on 7/6/10, I opened an account with PeopleFinders.com. I was immediately charged $19.95 for this "service" even though the website clearly states that if you cancel your account within 7 days, you will not be charged. I did not find the information that I was seeking on the website and canceled the account within 30 minutes of its inception as your program was not working for me.
I sent an e-mail to the company on 7/7 and received a reply that was very confusing and not helpful. I tried to call the company for clarification and was on hold for over an hour before I hung up. I tried again to call on the 8th and was on hold for 93 minutes before I finally hung up, (I have finite minutes to use since I have a cell phone only).
I sent another e-mail and received another ambiguous reply. Once again, I responded and requested a refund. I again received an ambiguous reply. At this point, I have reached a state BEYOND being upset with your company.
5 e-mails later and I FINALLY reache
I was highly dissatisfied with their service. First, they lead you to believe that you are purchasing free roam of the site for 24 hours which includes the reports that you were initially searching for. In fact, the 24 hour membership gives no benefit other than to actually allow you to purchase the comprehensive report for an extra $40. The only information I needed to know was the marital status of the person....which of course was advertised as included in the product and then was not included upon purchase of the report. Only afterward, I find that the state I searched in does not include this information. Very disappointed...... but hey! I know everything about this person that I DONT need to know!
