People's Choice Adam Sandler's Shiner and Jennifer Aniston's Slurred Speech (Links)

Adam Sandler sported a shiner and Jennifer Anniston delivered a less-than-typical Jenn speech that sounded slightly slurred at the People's Choice Awards last night (January 5).

The People's Choice Awards were hosted by Queen Latifah and it was Jennifer Aniston, wearing Dolce and Gabbana black pants with a plunging v-neck black vest that presented the award for Favorite Comedic Star to Adam Sandler.

Today several tabloids including Popeater are tossing around the notion that Aniston, while she seemed very relaxed as she spoke, slurred her speech somewhat.

Meanwhile, Sandler's role in Grown Ups, the highest-grossing comedy film of 2010 which also stars Kevin James, Chris Rock, Rob Schneider and David Spade, won the funnyman the coveted award.

As Sandler appeared on stage to receive his award, it was obvious he had a black eye. Sandler quickly addressed his shiner by stating, "I do have a black eye and I'm sorry. I wanted to go see The Black Eyed Peas and the lady thought I said, 'Black eye, please.'"

It turns out that the actor actually received the black eye while playing a basketball game with some of his pals.

  • Jennifer Aniston sounds just like Jennifer at the1/6/2011

She sounds just fine at the People Choice Awards. She sounds like she always does. Maybe she might need glasses, though, in order to read the prompter.
