Perez Hilton Felt the Boom Boom Pow! Didn't He

Faith Dosier
Committing violence against another person is wrong we know that right? However, it does happen and when it does sometimes people will rally behind the person who was physically wronged. At least most of the time they do don't they? I know that some may argue that no, it's always wrong to matter what but at the same time some of the same people who say its wrong could also be supporters of the death penalty too which in my opinion is a bit contradictory if you really think about it.

Your probably thinking by now, what are you getting at ? Well the entertainment circus called Perez Hilton took a tumble over the weekend. Some of hate him and some of us live but it is quite clear if your familiar with his blog or radio that his gossip is always very malicious, cruel, venomous, and often times unwarranted when it comes to talking about celebs and non celebs too. So when I heard the story of his attack and saw his video which I thought was a bit overdone I started to put it in its proper perspective first and to do that I read a fable by the philosopher Aesop which sums it up perfectly. By the way I think every child should be read and encouraged to read Aesop fables. It helped me develop good morals and I think it will for other to.

The Trumpeter Taken Prisoner

A Trumpeter during a battle ventured too near the enemy and was captured by them. They were about to proceed to put him to death when he begged them to hear his plea for mercy. "I do not fight," said he, "and indeed carry no weapon; I only blow this trumpet, and surely that cannot harm you; then why should you kill me?"

"You may not fight yourself," said the others, "but you encourage and guide your men to the fight."

Words may be deeds.

So what do you think? Perez may not be deserving of being punched but his words sure do incite others don't they?
