One of the finest and possibly the best things you can do for your family is to create some fun little dishes that warm their hearts and tummies. This article will look at a few simple cooking tips that you can use to surprise your family.

During the holiday seasons almost everybody has some leftover turkey. You've made turkey sandwiches - had turkey and mashed potatoes with gravy over and over again. After a while these dishes get rather boring to you and your family.

Don't lose hope there are some great cooking tips that you can do with your left over turkey. Instead of making the traditional turkey sandwiches or turkey dinners - Why not try some turkey lasagna, turkey burritos, and turkey nachos.

All the above three dishes are easy to do; you simply substitute turkey for beef. For the lasagna we suggest that you use turkey breast as white meat seems to be a better mix for this dish. The other two dishes work perfectly fine with white and dark turkey meat.

One dish that you may not be familiar with and certainly deserves mentioning is turkey divine. Turkey divine is a wonderful and simple meal to make up that your family will be absolutely surprised and astonished with if you've never tried it before.

The ingredients for Turkey divine are quite simple:

Mix two cans of cream of mushroom soup, 1 cup mayonnaise, a teaspoon of curry powder, 1 pound of chopped up left over Turkey, and a reasonable amount of grated cheddar cheese.

This dish at 350 degrees for 45 minutes -

Next boil some broccoli, and make up a serving of instant white rice for each plate. The reason that you make these two items separate is that some times people do not like broccoli and/or rice. If everyone in your family likes these two items you can mix them altogether in the same dish and bake them at the same time.

The best way to serve this dish is to place the rice on the plate and add some broccoli, and then scoop on the baked turkey divine mix. Serve with some dinner rolls and you have a wonderful meal. This is just one of the many cooking tips that you can find online for free to add a touch of class to your family meals.
