Band / Artists: Last Nights Vice
Label: Independent / Self Release
This is one of the best parts of being a freelance writer is 90% of the artists I interview and or review are independent bands. This allows me get to hear some great stuff from bands and artists from around the world. Most are represented by a Press or Public Relations firm; others are directly the artists handling all promotions and press themselves. So I've been getting some great music strait from the tap.
Last Nights Vice has created a fantastic 14 track CD titled "Perfect Little Noise". They have crafted an energetic blend of alternative rock with a disco pop flavor thrown in to keep a party jumping. The bands drummer Andrew Ghiassi shows off his skills as producer quite well. Just listening to songs like "Lock And Key" is a sonic treat reminding me of The Police but with a nice heavy edge thrown in.
Overall their 14 track CD "Perfect Little Noise" is well rounded musically. It's easy to for it to cross over between college rock radio to alternative, punk, hard rock, and pop music stations.
Check their sound out at www.lastnightsvice.com they have a very professional and up-to-date news, blog, events, videos and more. Their webpage also has links to all the bands social networking sites. So you can follow the band on Twitter, Facebook, Reverb Nation, iTunes, and many more.
Last Nights Vice have survived one Van's Warped Tour already and is slated for extensive touring to promote the release of "Perfect Little Noise". From Point Fest and Pop's in their home town area of Saint Louis Missouri and across country performing at Hot Topic Retail Stores to the notorious Viper Room in California. This band is driven with energy, humor and the musical and technical talents to put out a professional sound and performance.
