Perforated Hopes

Pratz
Hope is perhaps the hardest to keep

Although it's the biggest treasure

You can keep wealth locked up in caskets

And keep property guarded

But it's funny when we can't keep hope intact

We look up and look down

When we don't get something

We frown

We also stop searching anymore

Hopes can be as strong as a stone

Hope can bring back happiness from the moan

Hope can bring back dead from the deep

Yet hope is the hardest thing to keep

Hopes are perforated!

They slip away from the tiny holes of distrust

Distrust upon your own capabilities

Distrust on your own dreams

Nobody brings you hope back

Nobody can keep it for you

If your hopes are perforated

Buddy, you days of happiness are few!
