Our body internals need to be cleaned periodically in view of many impurities getting collected inside it. This washing and cleansing process can be done very effectively with the help of various types of pranayamas. These breathing techniques help all of us to remove such impurities from our body and keep us fit and healthy for many years. Such techniques have no harmful side effects of any kind. Plavini is one such pranayama technique that helps us to clean all our abdominal organs effectively, just by investing 5 minutes of our time regularly every day.

The procedure for doing this Plavini pranayama is quiet simple. Sit in a yogic posture with your both the thumbs of hands touching to your first finger of respective hands, keeping your both hands on respective knees. Close your eyes and try to concentrate your mind and body by taking deep and slow breaths, reciting the name of the god you trust. After around 2 to 3 minutes, you will get ready to perform this very special type of pranayama. Inhale through both the nostrils till your lungs and stomach are full of air. The stomach area should bulge out as a balloon. Retain the air inside the stomach for as long as you can and move the whole abdominal cavity in circular direction with great force so as to create effects of cleaning the internal organs of the abdominal cavity, mainly the stomach. As a result, air will be moving with great force inside the whole abdominal cavity. Then, exhale with as much force as you can so that all the entrapped air is thrown out with the big force. Repeat this exercise for around 6 to 8 times every day. Try to restrict this exercise to only around 5 times maximum during the peak summer. However, perform full quota in winter season. This pranayama must be performed after performing of Anulom- Vilom pranayama. This pranayama is slightly special in nature as it is the only pranayama technique, which requires filling in the air in the abdominal area. All other techniques require filling the air only up to the lungs in chest area. This pranayama is specifically beneficial to those who are having diseases of the abdominal cavity organs like stomach, liver, pancreas, kidneys, and the intestines.

This pranayama cures almost all the disease pertaining to abdominal organs. It cures hysteria, which is more commonly observed among the elderly women in India. All types of abdominal parasites (all kinds of worms) are either killed or thrown outside, thus improving the process of digestion tremendously. The impure and harmful air stored inside the abdominal organs is thrown out, which purifies our body internals. One point of caution is that this pranayama must be performed with completely empty stomach, leaving at least 4 to 5 hours after taking meal. The early morning and evening hours are the best time slots for doing this pranayama. This pranayama should not be performed by the persons who have been operated in the past related to major abdominal organs like stomach, intestines, liver, and pancreas. They must consult their family physician before starting this breathing exercise. This pranayama reduces the hunger considerably and hence is best for the obese people in order to follow strict dieting. Also make sure to perform this pranayama in fresh, clean, and pure air to the extent possible. Avoid doing this exercise in polluted air environment, which is very common in big cities. One will be able to experience the positive effects of this pranayama within around 45 days of doing it on regular basis.

I myself have been immensely benefited by this special type of pranayama in treating cancerous tumor in my left kidney during the year 2002. I have been fully recovered now and am enjoying a completely normal, healthy life since last 7 years. I urge sincerely to all my readers to start this simple breathing exercise to derive maximum benefits from it. It would definitely lead them all to fit and healthy life.
