Perilous Disaster

Catdog
Over the horizon came the finest vision of masculinity
Praying to anyone who would even dare listen to me
Knowing the fate that you bring forth with you
Sense of danger and excitement, blindly construed
Never knowing what was to hit my innocence sweet
Taken for the precarious ride into depths of pure discreet
The distinct taste of passion, taking my breath away
Only to awake, heart weary and tired, pure dismay
A vivid dream or a horrid reality, lust or love, solid strife
Alone in a moment, coming ever quick just to pass me by
Passion embraced insatiably amidst the nightlife
Destined to awake in the horrid reality, I call my life

Knowing the dangers, I lay on myself the tangible blame
For all along, I knew the chances playing this deadly game
Russian Roulette, the risk I agreed to take just to have one night
With the most miraculous man, igniting fires only he could light
Worthy it was, even as I lay here reminiscing in the silence
Dazed in the memory of that shared moment, the valence

Recalling the best night of my life, my darling dear
Memories repetition, every single night you lay here.

Passion never has to be a dream or an escape from reality
It is what we make it, the result in our hands, our destiny
Take control of what you love the most and cherish it deep
Never knowing when the perilous present becomes antiquity
