Perry for President

Lorraine Yapps Cohen
I had my eye on Perry before anybody had their eye on Perry, except maybe for CA Assemblyman, Dan Logue.

Those of us who stand for business, a free market economy, personal freedom, and government getting out of our hair like Rick Perry (R), Governor of Texas, a lot. We'd like him even more as president of the United States. And we'd really like him there in 2012. Dan Logue saw Perry's potential. So did I.

Perry for prosperity
What Perry has done for Texas needs to be done for America. In an economy run into the ground by Federal forces, a return to prosperity through market freedoms is in order. Perry runs Texas government by getting out of the way of business. What a great model for governing America.

It's no secret that Perry does something right in Texas. Folks are flocking there for opportunity. Jobs exist in Texas. Businesses move there. It's been a veritable magnet for Californians unable to afford living at home anymore. It's been a model for business success with legislators from socialized states visiting Perry in Texas to get a grip on how it's done. Why not put Perry to work for the nation?

Do it like Texas does
It's been said that Dan Logue has persuaded Rick Perry to run in 2012. Goodness knows, Logue saw leadership in the man, unlike blind CA polits like Gavin Newsom and Jerry Brown. Those two only know trashing the economy, not raising it up. We know that because nobody is visiting California to learn how it's done.

I had my hopes up for Perry in 2012. He stated that his attention focused squarely on the current state legislative session. Okay, that's fair. The minute it closes, folks like me and Dan Logue want to hear that he'll run. Refocusing his attention on 2012, on the nation, on the presidency can't not be on Perry's mind, even now. It's on mine.

Talk about change
Perry walks the talk about the kind of change needed in the country so badly right now:
How about teensy instead of big government?
How about jobs instead of welfare?
How about earning a living rather than depending on government?
How about creating wealth rather than poverty?
How about favoring companies that deliver rather than ones run by friends?
How about producing products instead of paying to play?
How about competition versus government monopoly?
How about a vote for leadership rather than tyranny in 2012?

If it turns out that Dan Logue didn't persuade Perry to run, Texas Ricky is going to hear from me.

Stephen ain't gettin it..."draconian cuts?" Stephen a lefty so he's gonna hate Jesus if he runs as a conservative. And I love Perry and I also like Ron Paul who is an outside shot and I like Pawlenty. He's not perfect but he had the guts to go to Iowa and say no more ethanol subsidies so he has balls ans is likely a pretty straight shooter. Course love Bachmann and Palin but I believe both are damaged goods and very unfairly so...it's their Tea Party associations that hurt them and I am sad b/c I am proudly a TEA PARTY type for sure!

I think the news media is trying to put Romney in to run against B0. R Perry, R Paul and others are a better option, in my opinion.
