The immortal gods lead by Zeus the most powerful of the all are thrown into an irreversible series of events. Zeus portrayed by Liam Neeson watches over his beloved half mortal and half immortal son Peresus who is unaware of his true identify after years of being he was a mere fisherman and mortal. Persesus portrayed by Sam Worthington inevitably discovers his true identity as the illegitimate son of Zeus (Liam Neeson), the most power god of them all.
Peresus soon also discovers who was responsible for the death of his mortal family. The immortal brother of his father Zeus known as Hades portrayed by Ralph Fiennes kills the family of Peresus out of rage and envy in hopes of ending the bloodline forever. Peresus believing that he and he alone must avenge the death of family sets out to exact that revenge against Hades in what was set to be the ultimate battle of the ancient world.
However, destiny's intervention sends Persesus' on a mission of mercy to save the city of Argos from the ruthless rage of Hades and his Kraken monster. Persesus leads the strongest and bravest into in an expedition to crush the Kraken. The "Clash of the Titans" film was released in theatres nationwide over the April 1st weekend and topped the box office to the tune of $61,235,105.
The film's release was actually delayed for several weeks so that the ancient world action could be delivered to cinema goers in 3D rather than the original standard of 2D. The action literally was larger than life. This Glorious tale of Greek civilizations was tipped to take the box office by storm and it did just that. "The Clash of the Titans" exploded onto the silver screen with vibrant power and 3D entertainment. Check your local listing for a cinema screening near you.
