Personal Lifestyle Changes and New Creative Habits (effective 10/24/08)

A Girl Who No Longer Exists
In the hopes that writing these out will make them more official, I've typed of changes I want to make in my life, effective as soon as tomorrow. I'm posting this as a reminder to myself and a reminder to others in my life who can perhaps remind me of some of these promised changes. If I make these changes public, I'm more likely to follow through on them. Here they are:

*Eat more fruits and vegetables...seriously.

*Whenever possible, get things for free (search the Really Really Free Market and Craigslist for whatever you need)

*In the event that you must buy something, get it second-hand---again, whenever possible

*Blog everyday that you have Internet access.

*Ride your bike more often, especially for longer distances so you don't have to walk as much.

*Get eight hours of sleep every night (or more often, anyway.)

*Submit at least one piece of art and/or creative writing to a print venue every week.

*Do not take another office-based internship during the school year; spend that time freelancing instead. Only intern during the summer and only at prestigious locations that will gain you worthy credit and experience.

*Write at least one Associated Content article for upfront payment every week.

*Create at least one new collage each month.

*Record one new song or experimental sound file each month.

*Try to audition for an acting opportunity at least twice a month.

*Take your multi-vitamin EVERYDAY.

*Moisturize everyday.

*Shoot footage for "The Garden" with Tim Ashworth at least once a week so you can be finished with the movie by the end of the academic year.

*Usher at least one play a month.
