The images come out crisp and clear, when used with Kodak photo paper, but it works just as good with any heavy stock paper. The best part of all is that you can snap the image load it up to your computer and have it printed in less then five minutes, that sure beats the wait in line where you get photos copied. This all in one printer gives up you lab quality images in less then 28 seconds, which is great to share those special memories.
What else can you do with this all in one Kodak easy share printer? You can print, copy and scan making this one handy must have computer accessory for anyone who has a digital camera and wants good quality photographs without the big cost.
To get the images on your monitor simply put the memory card from your camera into your computer and with your image software. You can edit images before you print them off with the Kodak Easy Share all in one printer.
There are two ink cartridges on this printer, but with the ink so inexpensive, it is a good thing. The ink does seem to last a long time, and I have been printing off many photos of the grand children's Christmas presents and each photograph has very good color. The most recent images have the same quality of color that the first ones I printed before Christmas day. You are in charge with this one; you determine the printed size of all images.
Many people think they need to change the printer settings on the printer to get photograph quality images, but not on this printer. This printer prints off lab quality images without changing the printer settings levels.
If you register this Easy Share 5100 all in one printer with Kodak on their site, you will get tons of tips and hints on how to use this simple printer to make some awesome photographs.
I do recommend this to everyone, because it is inexpensive and gives great studio quality images from your very home. Also with the ink cartridges only almost $15.00 for the color and 9.99 for the black ink that is a blessing when ink prices just keep soaring.
