Personalize Your iPhone 4 with Winterboard

Because Your iPhone Needs to Represent You!

Winterboard is a extension application available in the Cydia app store that allows you to customize the look of your iPhone 4. This free software allows you to download theme packages or individual graphic designs to your phone in order to change the appearance of your iPhone icons, dock and lock screen.

What can I change with Winterboard?

Icons

Don't like the way the default iPhone icons look like? You can find new icons in the Cydia store. These icon packages only affect the default iPhone applications such as Safari, Calculator and Clock. Your purchased app icons stay the same.

Lock Screen Slider Bar

The iPhone comes with a default slider bar on the lock screen that is very plain. Go to the Cydia store and you can find new slider bars that contain different graphic designs.

Status Bar

At the top of your iPhone where the battery indicator is located is your status bar. You can change the icons here to fit your overall design theme.

Dock

At the bottom of your iPhone is the dock. This feature shows on every page of your iPhone and is meant to hold your most used apps. You can change the appearance of your dock by changing the background colors or completely removing the dock all together.

Theme Packages

To quickly change the look of your iPhone you can download an entire theme package. This customizes the look of your iPhone with matching or coordinating design elements.

Winterboard is accessible through the Settings application. Each theme is listed by priority. If you download a theme but want to override an aspect of the theme such as changing the lock screen slider to a different design, simply drag the file you want to use up the list before the theme package.
