Who else remembers birthday parties as a child and the anticipation and excitement of getting a goodie bag filled with party favors? Were you also at most an early teen? Well, I think it is time to bring the exhilaration back to birthday parties for adults. Coming up with ideas for unique and fun party favors is simply a matter of some advance planning and creativity. While composing the invitation list, take a moment and jot down what each person enjoys. For example, beside each guest's name jot down if they enjoy coffee, tea, chocolate, candles, or have a passion for reading. This list will help you to choose fun, unique, and personal birthday party favors. Some of my favorite ideas for inexpensive party favors include personalized individual serving sizes of tea, hot cocoa mix, or mocha. There are a multitude of websites where you can purchase these goodies, however, if you have the time you can make them yourself. My friends enjoy my spice tea mixes, hot cocoa mixes, and homemade cinnamon mocha mixes, so I can easily design a personalized label and attach to the container. Voila! a unique, fun, and personal birthday party favor for your friends. Another creative idea is to purchase some unique stoneware mugs(please make sure they are oven safe) from one of the dollar stores, then place mix to make a cake in a mug, cover with cellophane tie with a ribbon and you have another unique personal birthday party favor. Some more of my favorites include making personalized bookmarks for the book lover, making glitter votive candle holders for the romantic, and for the shutterbug a personalized photo album and a disposable camera. These are my ideas for fun and unique birthday party favors. I hope these ideas help you bring the excitement back to your birthday parties now that you're all grown up

Post a CommentI will be 13 in March and I don't know what to do for my birthday party. It want something that will appeal to boys and girls and I don't want my guests to get bored. e.g. a dance party would be cool but if we just danced for 3 hours, it would be boring. I would quite like a theme too.
