Ingredients

2 oz. Unsweetened Chocolate
1 cup Sugar
1/2 cup Water
1 stick Cinnamon
2-3 Cloves
1 can Evaporated Milk
Directions for Peruvian Style Hot Chocolate

Grate the chocolate, or break it up into small pieces to facilitate melting.2
Place all the ingredients except the evaporated milk into a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir continuously until the chocolate has completely melted.3
Add the can of evaporated milk. Continue stirring over medium heat until the mixture is heated through. Avoid boiling.4
Remove from heat, and beat with a whip to make it frothy.5
Serving
