Pet Head So Spoiled Conditioner for My Pampered Pomeranian

The well-known hair care company, Bed Head, is now making grooming products for the most pampered pets, like mine. How cute is this container!

Needing a crème rinse for Hanna, I went to Petco and bought Pet Head by Bed Head So Spoiled conditioning crème rinse "only for cool dogs."

The bottle is a bright turquoise as you can see and 16.1 fluid ounces. You may say ouch at the price tag of about $16.00! The way I figure it is that if I wouldn't use a product why should my pampered Pomeranian? Besides she doesn't get her hair washed nearly as often as I wash my own.

It is also very important to me that as many products as possible in my house not be tested on animals. It makes even more sense to buy a cruelty-free product for your pet.

The smell of Pet Head So Spoiled is absolutely yummy. It smells just like a smidgen of oatmeal with a lot of honey.

The bottle says that it works best on dogs with short or medium long fur. I cannot read bottles without a magnifying glass so I didn't know that. Our dog's coat is long and it works beautifully on her. She is small - I am not sure if her size makes a difference.

The oat protein conditions Hanna's fur and keeps it conditioned. We have to blow her dry (really) so it is important that our cream rinse really takes out the tangles. Pet Head does. My husband combs her while I dry her.

It also has Vitamin E which makes her shiny. It has sunflower seed oil that nourishes her coat. When we have her out in public 99% of the people walking by ask us how we keep her fur so beautiful, white, and soft!

We use Pet Head So Spoiled just as directed. We wash her first and keep her busy why the conditioner sits on her fur. Pet Head rinses nicely, we towel dry her, and then out comes the hair dryer.

Pet Head products are pH adjusted and do not have paraben, petroleum derivatives, sulfate or DEA.

The ingredients are "water, cetearyl alcohol, PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil, stearalkonium chloride, glycerin, hydrolyzed oat protein, tocopheryl acetate (vitamin e), carthamus tinctorius (safflower) seed oil, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, DMDM hydantoin, fragrance, blue 1, yellow 5." source

Pet Head is made in the United States.

I would definitely buy Pet Head So Spoiled conditioner and other products in their line. It lathers nicely, rinses easily and smells wonderful.

$16.00 doesn't seem too outrageous when we consider all the other money we spend on our pets. Thanks for the details. We will probably try this.

Sounds wonderful. We just gave our new dog her first bath last week, she looked so pretty and fluffy afterwards.

Our dog needs to be brushed, combed and hand stripped daily so this sounds like a great product for him.

I saw that those little pups need lots of grooming. Without it they are one big hairball.
