You can even select a non-profit animal group like SNAP (Spay and Neuter Assistance Program) in lieu of your state. The Pet I.D. for Me personalized dog tags are made of thick laminate with your dog's image printed on both sides. The dog tag is both waterproof and quiet unlike the metal dog tags.
How to Place an Order
All you have to do is select the type of tag you want (e.g. your state), fill out your dog's contact information, upload a photo, hit the preview tab and preview what your dog's Pet I.D. will look like.
Note: If you select a non-profit animal charity, then you will only be required to enter your dog's name, address and phone number - not his color, weight, height, gender, eye color, date of birth, or breed type. The best part is that you see the information being updated as you enter it. Once you're done entering your dog's information, all you have to do is select the quantity and size.
Sizing
A small is approximately 1" x 1.75" and is perfect for dogs under 10 pounds. The large is 1.25" x 2." Both sizes cost $20 and shipping is only $2.49.And as an added bonus you'll receive a free magnet which is the size of a credit card.
Returns
If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, Pet I.D. for Me will be happy to accept returns for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. Return shipping is absolutely free - does it get any better than that? Pet I.D. for Me encourages buyers to exchange rather than return to ensure that the charitable royalty your purchase generated will still go to the charity. All you have to do is e-mail Pet I.D. for Me at cs@petidforme.com with your order number and they will send you a return shipping label which can be used to return the dog tag to them. So returns are easy and free.
Pet I.D. for Me would also make a great holiday or birthday present, so what are you waiting for? Visit PetIDforMe.com to order your pet tag.

A very cool idea!
Love it, thanks!
Hi Abby, I know that's exactly what I thought when I first read about it but then when I saw it on a small dog, I realized it's not too big at all. It's actually adorable and such a cute idea. Microchips are fabulous but unfortunately not everyone who finds a dog will take that dog to the vet or a shelter to see if they have a microchip. It's best to always have both a pet tag and a microchip.
Cute idea!
Are you to put in on the collar? It seems a little big for that. Abby is micro-chipped so all of that info is on file someplace 'just in case'...
So cute!!
OMG, I LOVE this! I just made one for my cat! I don't know if we'll buy it, but we sure had a kick out it, looking at my cat's California id! HA HA HA! I'll make one for my other cat too. LOL.
They look very cool. I am sure it would improve any dog's self esteem. haha
