It is a good idea to clean it every week. This way you will be sure that the parrot has the surroundings it needs to grow and have fun. That is what is so interesting about a parrot. It can have a lot of fun with just a little bit of care and a lot of attention, though it does like to be clean.
Not only do you need to keep the cage clean on a regular basis, but it does need to be safe. A happy parrot will be a great friend and on days when you just need something to cheer you up, they will. If they are safe and kept well they can make your day. Remember to talk to your parrot often. It loves to have the interaction and will in turn, be quite a great addition to your family.
When you decide on a schedule to clean your parrot's cage you should stick to it. Make sure that you do so every single week at the same time. This type of schedule is necessary because you will want to make sure that everything is going smoothly for it. You should never wait too long to clean the cage, because a parrot needs consistency. That way they know that you are going to take care of them. The more safe and secure that they fell, the more fun they will be.
Keeping your parrot healthy is of paramount importance. You need to give it water twice a day. It is also important that you clean out the water bowl every time that you refill it. You want to keep any germs away. Use hot water when you clean out the water bowl to make sure that it is thoroughly clean before you refill it and put it back in the cage.
Keeping your parrot groomed is important. You should do so at least three times every week. Make sure that you mist the parrot with a spray bottle because they love the water. They enjoy getting refreshed but you need to make sure that the water is not to hot or cold for it. Use a lukewarm temperature for misting it.
Take good care of your parrot. You will enjoy many wonderful moments with it.
