So photographers be ready! Get out your cameras, charge up the batteries and clear all your memory cards. The pet blogs will be hopping for weeks to come with all the St. Louis party animal photographs, and I literally mean party animals.
Aside from the parade their will be other activities throughout the day. Parade sponsors promise family fun for the entire day and that includes the furry family members too!
The St. Louis Mardi Gras site has full details but here's a brief rundown:
-Enrollment is at the corner of Allen and Menard
-Registration begins at 10 am
-Parade starts at 1 pm
-Entry fee is $10
-All proceeds go to the local shelter, Open Door Animal Sanctuary.
-Free to the public viewing audience.
So if you have a pet who likes to parade about, all dressed up or not, try to make it down for the parade! And don't forget to take you camera. Let them show off their stuff! If you are a photographer looking for pet portraits to spruce up your portfolio, this event should not be missed. There will be pets of all breeds, shapes, and sizes, with a wealth of eager subjects at your disposal.
