Photos with Santa will be available at participating Petco stores on Saturday, Dec. 6 and 13 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Santa will cuddle your cat, dog or even the family ferret while a picture is taken to preserve the memory. All types of pets are welcome at the photo event.
The photos are taken digitally, and printed onsite the day of the photo shoot. The photos will be placed in a special keepsake Petco frame. Decorated with a red bow in a festive red and green holiday pattern, the frame also features the playful Red Ruff and Blue Mews, Petco's dog and cat icons.
An afternoon of fun with Santa, a keepsake photo and frame will only set you back $8.95 plus tax.
Petco recommends you dress your pet in fun seasonal neckerchiefs, holiday collars and warm seasonal sweaters to add more spirit to your photos with Santa. A wide selection of cat and dog apparel is available at Petco.
Many Petco stores also offer grooming services. A holiday bath and brush will make your pet look purr-fect in their pictures with Santa. Holiday collar charms and bows in their fur will complete their look after an appointment at the Petco grooming salon!
Five dollars from each session with Santa will be donated to the PetCo Foundation to help homeless pets. The Petco Foundation partners will local and national organizations to improve the well being of pets. Ask your local Petco store who they will be donating their fundraising dollars to this year.
While visiting Petco, be sure to also take part in their Tree of Hope fundraiser. Each holiday season Petco stores nationwide raise money at the registers for needy pets. You can purchase a paper holiday ornament from the cashier in the amounts of $1, $5, $10, $20 or make a donation of a varying dollar amount. Pet parents can then write their pet's name on the ornament in recognition of their donation. Petco stores nationwide are decorating their windows, walls and store displays with the colorful ornaments.
What are you waiting for? Dress up the family pet and head to Petco for some fun, holiday memories with Santa. Your pet and the Petco Foundation will appreciate it!

Post a CommentI'd love to have seen the dogs getting their pictures taken with Santa. :-)
I wish we had a Petco around here. My mom has two cute dogs. I wonder if PetSmart is doing pet pictures with Santa too. It would be so cute!
