Mystery gambling
A fun way to make some extra money is to buy the small mystery boxes from the mystery store. These cost 50 coins each and contains a mystery item. Some times you'll get real lucky and get a bigger mystery box in one of the boxes you buy and the item will sell for a lot of coins. But even if you just get the regular items, you will most often make a small profit on buying mystery boxes and selling the content. Pick one of your friends that you know will send a gift back if you ask them to, this could even be your own alternate character if you want to play it safe. Pick a very expensive item, buy it and give it as a gift to your friend. This will make you a lot of paw points. Of course, your friend will get just as many paw points when they return the expensive item, and then you start the cycle all over again. If you can get the re-gifting program to run smoothly, it's one of the fastest way to build up paw points and level up fast.

Tree hugger
When you are out and about, make sure you run through the trees, some of them will drop coins. You can make a decent side income this way without any extra effort, just make sure you run through the trees instead of around them.
